How to register your child for Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten
The Mornington Peninsula Shire manages the enrolments for three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten via the following link:

- 2026 Kindergarten registrations open on 1st May 2025 at 9:00am!

Families should visit www.mornpen.vic.gov.au/kindergarten to complete the on-line registration form.
The Kindergarten on-time registration period will be from the 1st May 2025 – 2nd July 2025. All registrations received during this period will be noted as ‘on-time’ (regardless of date of submission).
There is no cost to register.

Your child may also be eligible for more funded kindergarten hours based on the Department of Education’s Pre-Prep reform, highlighted below.
*From 2026, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can access between 16 and 25 hours of Four-Year-old Kindergarten (Pre-Prep). These extra hours are funded by the government at no cost to families. For more information visit the following links.

The Intergenerational Program runs from term 2 through to term 4 and takes place at kinder in our four-year-old Boronia Group.
Nature Program
The Nature Program runs from term 2 through to term 4 in our four-year-old Banksia, Wattle and Waratah Groups. The program runs at Seawinds Gardens, Arthurs Seat. *Families are required to drop-off and collect from Seawinds Gardens.
Banksia Group. Wednesdays 9am -12pm
Waratah Group. Wednesdays 1pm – 4pm
Wattle group. Wednesdays 1pm – 4pm
Tours
Small group tours will be conducted by appointment. Please email us at wfg@kindergarten.vic.gov.au to arrange a tour.
